BPR 40 Programming/Test Cable

The Motorola PMDN4043 Programming/Test Cable is designed for programming and servicing the original analog Motorola Mag One BPR40 portable two-way radio.

The PMDN4043 provides the connection between a compatible BPR40 radio and a computer, allowing technicians, radio dealers, fleet managers, and other authorized users to read and write radio programming using the appropriate Motorola Customer Programming Software (CPS).

Important

The PMDN4043 is designed for the original analog Motorola Mag One BPR40.

It should not be confused with programming cables for newer BPR-series radios, including the digital BPR40d. The BPR40d uses a different programming interface/cable.

The PMDN4043 is a computer programming/test cable, not a radio-to-radio cloning cable. For radio-to-radio cloning of the original BPR40, Motorola identifies the PMDN4060 as the appropriate cloning cable.

Compatible Motorola Customer Programming Software (CPS) is required for computer-based radio programming.
