PTT and VOX Operation

The PMLN6635A supports two communication methods:

• Push-to-Talk: Press and hold the in-line PTT button while speaking

• Voice Activation: Use VOX when the connected radio has been programmed for voice-activated transmission

VOX availability and sensitivity depend on the connected radio’s programming. Push-to-talk operation remains available when VOX is not enabled.
