The PMMN4097C acts as the wireless gateway between a compatible mobile radio and a supported Motorola wireless remote speaker microphone.

This allows personnel to leave the vehicle while continuing to communicate through the installed mobile radio. The mobile radio’s higher transmit power and external antenna can provide system coverage that may not be available from a standard portable radio.

Important Compatibility Information

The PMMN4097C is not compatible with MOTOTRBO Connect Plus mode of operation.

Programming and Updates

The gateway supports configuration and firmware maintenance through Motorola Accessory Programming Software. The Motorola PMKN4163 USB programming cable may be required for supported programming or update procedures.
