The PMLN4444 features an in-line PTT/VOX selector switch.

When used with a compatible radio that has VOX enabled, selecting VOX allows hands-free voice-activated transmission through the accessory's boom microphone.

VOX functionality depends on the connected radio. The radio must support VOX and have the feature properly enabled or configured.

The Motorola BPR40 is compatible with the PMLN4444 for standard PTT operation but does not support VOX operation with this accessory.

When used with select Motorola Professional Series radios such as the HT750, HT1250, and MTX Series, the HLN9716 accessory adapter is required.
