Motorola AAPMKN4004 Programming & Test Cable – RIB Interface

The Motorola AAPMKN4004 Programming & Test Cable is designed for programming, testing, and servicing compatible Motorola Commercial Series portable two-way radios.

For radio programming, the AAPMKN4004 connects a compatible portable radio to the Motorola RLN4008 Radio Interface Box (RIB). When used with the appropriate Motorola Customer Programming Software (CPS), computer interface equipment, and RIB, technicians can read and configure supported radio parameters such as frequencies, channels, signaling options, and other programmable settings.

The cable can also connect compatible radios to the Motorola RLN4460 Portable Radio Test Set for professional radio testing and service applications. The RIB and radio test set can be connected simultaneously without interfering with each other, providing technicians with a versatile setup for programming and servicing compatible radios.

Important

The AAPMKN4004 is not a RIB-less USB programming cable.

For computer-based radio programming, a compatible Motorola RLN4008 Radio Interface Box (RIB) and the appropriate computer-to-RIB connection are required.

For radio testing, the cable can be used with the Motorola RLN4460 Portable Radio Test Set.
