The Motorola NNTN8189D Operations Critical Wireless Bluetooth Accessory Kit provides cable-free connectivity between a compatible Motorola radio and the user’s push-to-talk and audio controls. The kit combines a standard-pairing wireless PTT pod with a lightweight 12-inch CommPort-style earpiece for professional hands-free communication.

The over-the-ear earpiece uses a directional microphone positioned near the ear to support clear voice transmission without requiring a conventional boom microphone. Its 12-inch cable connects to the wireless pod, while the pod communicates with the compatible radio through Bluetooth.

A large push-to-talk button on the wireless pod provides convenient access to transmissions while allowing the radio to remain secured on a belt, mounted inside a vehicle, positioned on a desk, or stored nearby. The system provides an operating range of up to approximately 30 feet under suitable line-of-sight conditions.

The NNTN8189D uses standard Bluetooth pairing and is supplied without a charger. A compatible Motorola micro-USB charging solution must be ordered separately. Radio compatibility and the possible need for an external Bluetooth adapter should be confirmed before ordering.
