Combine GPS reception and two-way radio RF connectivity in one professional vehicle installation with the Motorola PMAN4004B Antenna Base Kit.

This genuine Motorola through-hole mount incorporates a GPS antenna and an NMO-style base for a separately purchased VHF, UHF or 800/900 MHz radio antenna.

Supplied with a Mini-UHF radio connector and a separate GPS cable, the PMAN4004B helps create a clean, permanent roof-mount installation for compatible MOTOTRBO mobile radios.

  • Combines GPS and two-way radio RF connections in one mounting base

  • Through-hole design provides a secure permanent installation

  • NMO-style base accepts a compatible radio antenna element

  • Includes a Mini-UHF connector for the radio’s RF antenna port

  • Separate cable provides the GPS connection

  • Supports compatible VHF, UHF or 800/900 MHz antenna elements

  • Genuine Motorola Solutions antenna accessory

Product Specifications

Combination GPS and RF Design

The PMAN4004B provides connections for two separate radio functions:

  • GPS: The antenna base supplies the compatible radio’s satellite-positioning connection.

  • RF Communications: The NMO base accepts a separately selected antenna element for the radio’s operating frequency.

This combined design can reduce the number of separate antenna mounts required on the vehicle while maintaining dedicated connections for GPS and two-way radio communications.

Select the Correct RF Antenna

The PMAN4004B is supplied as a base-only kit. A compatible NMO-mounted antenna element must be ordered separately according to the radio’s operating band, such as:

  • VHF

  • UHF

  • 700/800 MHz

  • 800/900 MHz

The selected antenna must match the radio’s programmed frequency range. The PMAN4004B base itself does not determine the RF operating frequency.

Compatible Radio Families

Designed for select GPS-capable Motorola MOTOTRBO mobile radios, including compatible:

  • XPR 4000 Series

  • XPR 5000 Series

  • XPR 5000e Series

  • Corresponding MOTOTRBO DM and DGM Series mobile radios

Compatibility depends on the radio model, GPS capability, RF connector and selected antenna element. Please verify the complete configuration before ordering.

Installation Requirements

Installation requires drilling an appropriate mounting hole through a suitable vehicle roof or metal mounting surface. Proper grounding, cable routing and weather sealing are necessary for reliable performance.

Professional installation is recommended to prevent water intrusion, cable damage or poor antenna performance.

Important Product Distinction

The PMAN4004B is the combined GPS/RF mounting base and cable assembly only. It does not include the removable VHF, UHF or 800/900 MHz radio antenna element.
