The Motorola PMLN8297A GCAI-Mini Push-to-Talk Nexus Adapter connects compatible Nexus-equipped 3M PELTOR communication headsets directly to supported Motorola portable radios. It provides the interface needed to transmit and receive radio communications through a heavy-duty headset in loud industrial and operational environments.

A large, body-worn push-to-talk button provides easy access to radio transmissions, including when the user is wearing work gloves. The button delivers distinct tactile feedback when pressed, helping users confidently activate PTT without needing to look at the adapter.

The Nexus quick-disconnect connection allows a compatible headset to be plugged in or removed without disconnecting the adapter from the radio. This provides greater flexibility when changing headsets, removing protective equipment, or moving between different work assignments.

The radio-side GCAI-Mini connector attaches securely to compatible Motorola portable radios. The PMLN8297A is designed specifically for approved Nexus headsets and is not universally compatible with all NATO-wired Nexus accessories, including certain ComTac and SWAT-Tac headset configurations.
