The WP300 connects wirelessly to a compatible radio or broadband push-to-talk device using Bluetooth 5.0, allowing users to access push-to-talk (PTT), volume controls, call/multifunction functions, and supported emergency functions without needing to physically handle the radio.

Included with the kit is the Motorola PMLN8190 Surveillance Earpiece with Translucent Tube, providing discreet audio monitoring and communication for security, hospitality, event management, public safety support, and other professional applications. The clear acoustic tube provides a low-profile appearance while allowing radio traffic to be heard directly through the earpiece.

The WP300 can operate as a remote wireless PTT control pod or as an audio device when a compatible earpiece is attached. With a wireless range of up to 30 meters (approximately 98 feet) line of sight, users can maintain access to important radio controls even when the radio itself is not immediately within reach.

An embedded 290 mAh rechargeable battery provides approximately 18 hours of operation based on a standard 5/5/90 duty cycle, making the WP300 suitable for extended work shifts. The pod is charged using the included Micro-USB charging cable.

Designed for demanding professional environments, the WP300 features an IP67 rating when the dust cover is closed and has been tested to MIL-STD-810H standards for shock and vibration.
