The Motorola PMLN8401 WP300 Wireless Bluetooth Push-to-Talk Pod with Translucent Tube Earpiece provides convenient wireless control of compatible Motorola radios and broadband Push-to-Talk devices while delivering discreet received audio through an included surveillance earpiece.

The WP300 connects wirelessly using Bluetooth 5.0, allowing the user's compatible radio or device to remain secured on a belt, carried elsewhere, or positioned out of immediate reach. A large dedicated Push-to-Talk (PTT) button provides quick access to communications directly from the pod.

In addition to PTT, the WP300 provides convenient volume up/down controls, a call/multifunction button, and an emergency button for supported devices and applications. The compact pod can be attached to clothing using the included swivel clip, keeping essential communication controls within easy reach.

This PMLN8401 kit includes the PMLN8190 Surveillance Earpiece with Translucent Tube, which connects directly to the WP300 and delivers incoming communications discreetly to the user's ear. The clear acoustic tube and rubber eartip provide a low-profile appearance well suited for security, hospitality, event operations, public safety support, and other professional applications.

The WP300 features a rugged design with an IP67 rating when the dust cover is closed and has been tested to MIL-STD-810H standards for shock and vibration. Its embedded rechargeable 290 mAh battery provides up to approximately 18 hours of operation based on a 5/5/90 duty cycle.

With a wireless range of up to approximately 30 meters (98 feet) line-of-sight, the WP300 gives users greater flexibility to communicate and access essential radio controls without having to physically handle their radio or connected device.

The PMLN8401 is the complete WP300 kit with the translucent-tube surveillance earpiece included.

It should not be confused with PMLN8298, which is the WP300 Wireless Bluetooth Control Pod kit without the PMLN8190 surveillance earpiece.

The WP300 can function as a remote wireless PTT/control device or route audio through a compatible earpiece connected directly to the pod.

Available PTT, emergency, call, and other control functions depend on the connected radio, broadband PTT device, application, and software/firmware configuration.
