The Motorola NNTN8385A Wireless Neckloop Y-Adapter is designed to connect a compatible Motorola wireless push-to-talk pod with a covert neckloop and discreet wireless earpiece system. It provides the connection points and audio components needed to integrate these accessories into a low-profile communication setup.

The Y-adapter includes a compact in-line microphone that can be concealed beneath clothing for discreet voice transmission. An integrated retention hook helps secure the adapter during movement, while separate connections accommodate a compatible RLN4920 neckloop and Motorola wireless PTT pod.

When assembled with the required components, the neckloop transmits received audio to a compatible discreet wireless earpiece. The user speaks through the NNTN8385A’s concealed in-line microphone and controls transmissions using the separately available wireless PTT pod.

The NNTN8385A is a replacement or system-building component rather than a complete wireless communication kit. A compatible wireless PTT pod, RLN4920 neckloop, discreet wireless earpiece, Bluetooth-enabled radio, and other required components are sold separately.
