The Motorola NNTN8383B is a rugged IMPRES Industrial Noise-Canceling remote speaker microphone engineered for clear communication in extremely loud workplaces. Its dual-microphone design isolates the user’s voice and suppresses disruptive noise from heavy machinery, construction equipment, power tools and industrial operations.

IMPRES audio technology optimizes performance with compatible Motorola radios, improving voice intelligibility and amplifying quieter incoming transmissions. An integrated eight-step volume toggle allows receive volume to be adjusted directly from the microphone without reaching for the radio.

A threaded 3.5mm audio jack provides a secure connection for compatible receive-only earpieces and heavy-duty headsets. The threaded design helps prevent the connected accessory from becoming accidentally disconnected but requires an earpiece specifically designed for the NNTN8383 microphone.

The NNTN8383B carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water and is approved to the TIA-4950/UL intrinsic-safety standard. Approval applies only when used with a complete approved Motorola radio, battery, earpiece and accessory configuration. This is a legacy Motorola microphone, so availability may be limited.
