The Motorola PMMN4050AL is a large IMPRES noise-canceling remote speaker microphone designed for clear, dependable communication in loud industrial and commercial environments. It allows users to transmit and receive calls without removing their Motorola MOTOTRBO radio from a belt or carrying case.

Motorola’s Industrial Noise Cancellation technology suppresses surrounding noise to improve voice intelligibility, while IMPRES audio automatically optimizes performance and amplifies quieter incoming transmissions. Windporting technology also helps reduce wind noise and prevents water from obstructing the microphone.

The large housing and prominent push-to-talk button are easy to operate while wearing work gloves. A built-in 3.5mm audio jack supports compatible receive-only earpieces for discreet incoming communications when conversations should not be heard through the microphone’s external speaker.

The PMMN4050AL carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water and is approved to the TIA-4950 intrinsic-safety standard for compatible hazardous-location configurations. Approval applies only when used with a complete approved Motorola radio, battery and accessory combination.
