IMPRES Windporting Speaker Microphone with 3.5mm Jack – UL Approved

The Motorola PMMN4025AL is a compact IMPRES remote speaker microphone designed to provide clear, convenient communication in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. It allows users to transmit and receive calls without removing their Motorola MOTOTRBO radio from a belt or carrying case.

IMPRES audio technology automatically optimizes performance and provides enhanced audio gain, while Windporting technology significantly reduces background noise caused by wind and severe weather. The Windporting design also helps prevent water from obstructing the microphone port and distorting transmitted audio.

A built-in 3.5mm audio jack supports compatible receive-only earpieces for private incoming communications. The microphone also includes an orange emergency button for quick access to the radio’s programmed emergency function but does not include volume controls or additional programmable buttons.

The PMMN4025AL carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water. The PMMN4025 family has been offered under legacy FM and later TIA-4950/UL intrinsic-safety approvals, so the microphone label and complete Motorola radio, battery, earpiece and accessory configuration must be verified for hazardous-location use.
