IMPRES Public Safety Microphone with 30-Inch Cable and 3.5mm Jack – FM Approved

The Motorola PMMN4041B is a large IMPRES public safety microphone designed to provide clear communication and improved radio coverage in demanding work environments. Its extended 30-inch straight cable provides maximum routing flexibility when the microphone is mounted at the shoulder and the radio is worn on a belt, underneath protective clothing or inside a carrying case.

IMPRES audio technology helps optimize audio performance and improve voice intelligibility, while Windporting technology reduces disruptive wind noise and helps prevent water from obstructing the microphone. Integrated volume controls, an emergency button and a programmable button provide convenient access to important radio functions.

The microphone includes a standard 3.5mm audio jack for connecting a compatible receive-only earpiece when incoming communications need to remain private. It also accepts a separately purchased UHF or VHF microphone antenna, relocating the radio antenna to shoulder level for potentially improved reception and coverage.

The PMMN4041B has an IP54-rated housing for protection against dust and splashing water and carries legacy Factory Mutual intrinsic-safety approval. Hazardous-location approval applies only when the microphone is used with a complete FM-approved Motorola radio, battery, antenna, earpiece and accessory configuration.
