Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity allows the microphone to pair with compatible Motorola radios, WAVE PTX devices and supported smartphones for convenient push-to-talk communications.

The WM500 operates as a wearable speaker microphone, allowing users to transmit, receive audio, change talkgroups, adjust volume and access programmed functions while leaving the connected radio or smartphone securely stored. Its controls include a side push-to-talk button, emergency button and four configurable front buttons.

An internal 1,130 mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of operation with supported broadband or BYOD devices and up to 17 hours with compatible land-mobile radios. USB-C charging replenishes the battery in approximately two hours.

The compact WM500 is rated IP67 for resistance to dust and water. A standard 3.5 mm audio jack also supports compatible receive-only earpieces when private or confidential listening is required.
