Its small housing clips comfortably to a shoulder, lapel or uniform while the connected radio remains secured to a belt or carrying case.

IMPRES technology allows a compatible Motorola radio to recognize the microphone and optimize its audio configuration. This helps improve voice intelligibility, amplify quieter transmissions and provide more consistent transmit and receive performance.

Motorola Windporting technology helps reduce interference caused by wind and prevents water from obstructing the microphone opening. A standard, non-threaded 3.5 mm audio jack supports compatible receive-only earpieces for discreet radio monitoring.

The PMMN4073AL is IP55 rated for protection against dust and water jets. It is also TIA-4950/UL approved when used as part of a properly configured Motorola intrinsically safe radio system.
